A great way to start the year is to resolve to establish personal and professional connection and belonging by being a partisan of conversation. Happily, this month’s edition of The Atlantic features an interview with Sherry Turkle, who indicates that her forthcoming book, Reclaiming Conversation, will help us embrace conversation to sharpen our sense of self and of our mutual humanity.
Look forward, in the meantime, to opportunities to examine your conversational abilities through a variety of Squishtalks programs planned for this year. I wish you an engaging and fulfilling conversational 2014.
Good stuff, definitely looking forward to Turkle’s new book. Alone Together should be required reading for the digital age.
