Last weekend’s remembrance of the tragedy of 9/11 and, especially, the extremely compelling, emotional and intimate sharing of conversations through StoryCorps once more demonstrated viscerally the capacity within all of us to recognize the human condition and to resonate with our mutual human experience as shared through conversation.
My own encounter with StoryCorps, which you can listen to here, informed me and my fellow conversational adventurer about the wonder and insight that can arise by exploring our tales, experiences, beliefs and opinions. StoryCorps is one of the most powerful expressions of this medium and I would recommend everyone listen to at least a few of their recordings.
