Neighborhood Table Talks

Habitat for Humanity of Omaha is a nonprofit working to eliminate poverty housing and make adequate housing a matter of conscience and action. Its AmeriCorps staff pursued a community postcard project to gather positive stories associated with specific places, the lives lived there and the connection of people through the identification of shared experience.

“I don’t believe the event could have been as successful without your help.”

Squishtalks was engaged to advise the AmeriCorps team in conceiving and facilitating a community conversation event aimed at instilling a positive sense of neighborhood amongst residents and engendering a sense of commonality and understanding among residents from different neighborhoods.

“I believe that meaningful conversation builds strong relationships, which leads to tightly knit families & communities. Thank you for inviting my husband & myself.”
